The Safari Hotel
We have some very creative students at SMOT and two of them are Matthew C and Max R from 4VL. On Wet Day timetable days I am in 4VL and I have been watching Matthew and Max patiently creating their Safari Hotel from lego during Term 3 and last week. Their Safari Hotel began as a single room and has developed into a hotel complete with a penthouse with a balcony! It earned its Safari name from the blue elephant like shapes on the sides and the giraffe like shapes on the top. Now the boys just have to find the perfect place to build the real version of their Safari Hotel…Any suggestions?
Level 1 is the Ground floor.
Level 2 has stairs leading to Level 3 and two bedrooms.
Level 4 has a Food Court and Level 5 has another two bedrooms.
Level 6 is the ground floor of the Penthouse with the bedrooms and deck on Level 7.

What a terrific building. Keep up the good work. Architects of the future?

Matthew and Max I like the idea of the balcony of the 7th level. it’s great to see that your class group respected your lego building during the construction time. I wonder if you got your ideas from other hotels. Do you spend time designing things with lego at home as well as during wet day timetable at school?
Well done Max and Matthew for working together to achieve your design.
